Hot

By Belize Live News Staff: Some parts of Belize could see showers and thunderstorms today as slightly moist and unstable weather continues across the country.

Forecasters expect a mixture of sunshine and cloudy spells throughout Thursday.

A few showers and isolated thunderstorms could develop along sections of the coast this morning before most of the activity moves inland during the afternoon.

Despite the possibility of rain, temperatures will remain hot. Inland communities can expect highs near 95 degrees Fahrenheit, while coastal areas will reach around 89 degrees and the hills around 84 degrees.

Tonight, showers and thunderstorms will become mostly isolated, although southern and some coastal areas could experience a few more late in the night.

Friday is expected to bring cloudy periods with generally isolated showers and thunderstorms. Southern Belize has the highest chance for additional rainfall.

There is no tropical cyclone formation expected in the region during the next 48 hours.
