Belize’s stretch of pleasant weather is expected to continue through the weekend, according to the latest forecast issued by meteorologist Crystal Rosalez.
The forecast calls for sunny skies mixed with occasional cloudy periods today, followed by partly cloudy conditions tonight. Only isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected across the country, although residents near the Maya Mountains and in southern Belize may experience a few additional showers later in the day.
Temperatures will remain seasonably warm, reaching 94 degrees Fahrenheit inland, 88 degrees along the coast and 84 degrees in the hills.
At sea, conditions remain moderate with easterly winds between 10 and 20 knots and wave heights of 4 to 6 feet.
The outlook for Sunday and Sunday night remains virtually unchanged, with forecasters predicting similar weather conditions to prevail throughout Belize.
With no tropical systems threatening the region and rainfall expected to remain limited, Belizeans can expect favorable conditions for sporting events, tourism activities, family outings and other weekend plans.
For now, the weather story is simple: sunshine, warm temperatures and another calm weekend across Belize.
