Hot inland, breezy coast: your Wednesday forecast at a glance

By Belize Live News Staff: After days of cloudy skies and scattered rainfall, Belize is entering a more stable weather pattern that is expected to continue through the remainder of the week.

The latest forecast from the National Meteorological Service calls for mostly sunny conditions today, with only isolated showers and thunderstorms expected across the country.

While the south may experience a few additional showers tonight, most areas can expect fair weather and warm temperatures throughout the day.

Forecasters are predicting inland temperatures of up to 95 degrees Fahrenheit, making Wednesday one of the hotter days of the week. Coastal temperatures are expected to reach 89 degrees, while hill areas will remain significantly cooler.

Looking ahead to Thursday, weather conditions are expected to remain mainly fair, with only isolated showers or thunderstorms forecast. Southern Belize could once again see a few more showers during the nighttime hours.

For now, Belizeans can enjoy a break from widespread rain as drier weather takes control across the country.
