By Belize Live News Staff: Belize is set to make history in 2027 after being selected to host the 57th ALIDE General Assembly, one of the region’s leading gatherings focused on development finance and economic cooperation.
The event will be coordinated by the Development Finance Corporation and is expected to attract top financial leaders and development partners from across Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
According to the DFC, the conference will focus on topics including sustainable development financing, digital transformation, climate resilience and inclusive economic growth. The Government and DFC say hosting the assembly presents a major opportunity for Belize to promote its tourism product, hospitality sector and investment opportunities to an influential international audience.
The ALIDE General Assembly is recognized as one of the premier regional platforms for collaboration among development banks and financial institutions throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
