Police recover stolen equipment worth $700

By Belize Live News Staff: A San Juan Village resident is facing criminal charges after police allegedly recovered stolen tools linked to a theft reported in Douglas Village.

According to reports, a farm worker had left his belongings inside a farm house while working nearby, only to return and discover that his tool bag was gone.

The missing items included a Milwaukee drill and several drill bits valued at a total of $700.

Police later recovered the items and arrested Alberto Arcurio in connection with the investigation. He has since been charged with handling stolen goods and remains before the court process.
