By Belize Live News Staff: An early morning traffic accident along the Phillip Goldson Highway near San Pablo Village has led to charges against an 18-year-old driver.
Reports indicate that Einer Joaquin Arcurio was attempting to make a U-turn when his vehicle collided with a motorcycle. He reportedly accepted fault for the accident.
The motorcyclist, identified as Police Corporal Erwin Canul, sustained minor injuries.
However, investigations later revealed that the motorcycle may not have been properly licensed, insured, or registered.
Police say the matter remains under investigation.
