By Belize Live News Staff: Belize City, Belize, April 12, 2026 — A frightening shooting incident unfolded on Amara Avenue after a masked gunman fired multiple shots at a resident, who managed to escape unharmed.
Denroy McFoy reported that he was ambushed in his yard by a man dressed in black who fired three shots before fleeing the area.
Police recovered several shell casings at the scene, but no suspects have been detained.
Authorities continue to investigate the motive behind the attack.
