Belize City woman nabbed in stolen goods bust

By Belize Live News Staff: A 50-year-old Belize City woman has been arrested and charged in connection with a theft investigation.

According to reports, police acted on a complaint filed by a city resident on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. Around 8:30 p.m., authorities obtained a warrant and detained Martha Ferrell, a laborer of #7370 Arlington Drive.

Ferrell has since been formally charged with handling stolen goods.

After being cautioned, she exercised her right to remain silent.

Police say the investigation is ongoing as they continue to follow up on the matter.
