Corozal man charged after Guinea Grass domestic violence case

By Belize Live News Staff: Police have formally charged a Corozal District man following a domestic violence incident in Guinea Grass Village.

Authorities confirmed that on March 26, officers obtained a warrant and arrested the 27-year-old suspect.

He has been charged with wounding, threat of death, and damage to property.

The charges stem from a report that he assaulted his partner during a dispute earlier this week, leaving her with injuries later certified as wounding.

He remains in custody as the matter proceeds through the court.
