By Belize Live News Staff: Police have formally charged a Nicaraguan national in connection with a fatal machete attack that occurred in Cowpen Village over the weekend.
Authorities say the victim, Elias Bejerano, was fatally injured after being attacked with a machete during the incident.
Following investigations, police arrested 37-year-old Raul Sergio Flores, who has since been formally charged with murder.
Police continue their investigation as the accused prepares to face the court in relation to the killing.
