Orange Walk patrol nets three public drinking arrests

By Belize Live News Staff: A Saturday evening patrol in Orange Walk District resulted in three arrests for public drinking and the issuance of traffic tickets.

Police say the enforcement operation targeted businesses and traffic offenders between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

During the patrol, officers detained and later charged Javier Angel Flores, Mauro Ivan Carlos, and Felipe Apolonio Camara for public drinking.

In addition, two traffic violation tickets were issued.

Police indicate that similar operations will continue in an effort to discourage public disorder and traffic infractions.
