Woman charged after knife used in Trial Farm dispute

By Belize Live News Staff: A 21-year-old woman has been charged following a violent altercation on Pineapple Street in Trial Farm Village.

Police report that the incident occurred Monday morning when a dispute escalated while individuals were moving a table. The confrontation reportedly turned physical, with punches thrown before a pocketknife was introduced.

Although the knife was not opened, one woman was struck to the forehead with it during the altercation.

Medical authorities classified the injuries as harm.

Police later obtained a warrant, and the 21-year-old suspect was formally arrested and charged for harm. The matter is now before the court.
