Sunny skies continue as dry conditions prevail across Belize

By Belize Live News Staff: A light and slightly moist east to northeasterly airflow is influencing weather conditions across the country this morning, according to the 6:00 AM forecast issued on February 12, 2026.

Forecasters are calling for sunny skies today with cloudy intervals. A few showers are expected to develop mainly along coastal areas during the morning and afternoon hours. By tonight, skies will become partly cloudy, with showers decreasing and becoming isolated.

Marine conditions will remain favorable for most small craft operators. Winds from the east-northeast will blow between 5 and 15 knots, producing light chop on the sea. Wave heights are expected to range between 2 and 4 feet.

Temperatures along the coast will reach a high of 82 degrees Fahrenheit (28°C) and dip to 72°F (22°C) overnight. Inland areas can expect warmer daytime temperatures, peaking at 85°F (29°C) before falling to 66°F (19°C) tonight. In the hills, temperatures will be cooler, with highs near 76°F (24°C) and lows around 59°F (15°C).

The outlook for Friday and Friday night calls for fair and mostly dry conditions to prevail.

Today’s first high tide occurred at 8:03 AM, followed by a low at 11:49 AM and another high at 6:18 PM. Sunrise was at 6:20 AM, and sunset will be at 5:53 PM. The forecast was prepared by Catherine Cumberbatch.
