The accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. at the junction of the Philip Goldson Highway and Belikin Boulevard, where a gold Hyundai Tucson reportedly missed the junction and crashed into a drain.

Police say the vehicle sustained extensive damage to the front, and one of the rear wheels was punctured as a result of the impact.

Two passengers were injured in the crash. One woman suffered an open fracture to her left ankle and complained of chest pain, while another passenger sustained a cut above his left eye. Both were transported to KHMH for treatment by ambulance personnel.
