By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): The Belize Police community is appealing to the public for help as Cpl. Abimael Correa faces a life-altering medical emergency.
Correa’s health has rapidly declined following complications from diabetes. An X-ray conducted recently showed a widespread infection in his right leg, and medical professionals have advised that his right hand will require amputation.
This health crisis comes on the heels of deep personal loss, as Correa is still grieving the death of his brother, Cpl. Jose Blanco, who passed away at the Belama Police Station.
