Ladyville murder: 24-year-old police officer faces charges as new evidence emerges

By Belize Live News Staff: A shocking development has emerged out of Ladyville as a police officer has been formally charged for murder.

Authorities have charged Kenroy Rudolph Allen Jr, 24, for the murder of Shackeem Ferguson, which reportedly happened on Sunday afternoon in Ladyville.

Information reaching reporters suggests that ballistics testing on the officer’s licensed firearm returned results that reportedly connect it to the killing. Investigators are also said to be reviewing the officer’s phone after messages allegedly tied to a separate murder were discovered.

Police are reportedly pursuing additional evidence, including clothing believed to be connected to another murder, which may have been found during the investigation.
