By Belize Live News Staff: The National Meteorological Service is forecasting mild and mainly dry weather conditions across Belize as the country heads into the weekend.
In the midday forecast released January 30, 2026, forecaster Derrick Rudon said Belize will experience mostly sunny skies today, followed by partly cloudy conditions tonight. The forecast calls for only light isolated showers, meaning most communities should remain dry.
Marine forecasts also indicate calm conditions for boaters, with northeast winds at 5 to 10 knots, light chop at sea, and waves between 2 and 4 feet.
Daytime temperatures will remain warm across the country. Coastal areas are expected to reach 80°F with lows of 70°F, while inland areas could climb to 84°F with lows of 64°F. In the hills, temperatures will be cooler, reaching 72°F and dropping to 59°F overnight.
The outlook for Saturday remains positive, with mainly fair weather and little or no rain expected. By Saturday night, however, cooler and windier conditions are expected, along with brief isolated showers mainly over offshore areas.
