By Belize Live News Staff: Weather conditions across Belize are expected to deteriorate Monday night as a cold front moves toward the country, bringing increasing cloudiness, rainfall, and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms.
Forecasters say fair and mostly sunny conditions will prevail through today, but clouds will gradually build on Monday, with showers developing offshore and along coastal areas before spreading inland.
By Monday evening, the cold front is expected to produce periods of rain across most areas, along with gusty conditions and choppy seas.
Marine operators are advised to exercise caution as east to southeast winds continue at 5 to 15 knots, with waves ranging from 3 to 5 feet.
Residents are urged to remain weather-aware as the cold front approaches and conditions become more unsettled.
