By Belize Live News Staff: Belize is forecast to experience generally cloudy skies with periods of rain today as a moist northeasterly airflow continues to influence weather conditions across the country.
According to the latest forecast, showers or periods of rain will mainly affect northern, central, and offshore areas, with moderate marine conditions expected along the coast. Winds will be from the north to northeast at 5 to 15 knots, producing moderate seas with waves between four and six feet.
Daytime temperatures will reach highs near 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 83 inland, and 71 in hilly areas, while nighttime lows are expected to range between 58 and 71 degrees.
Looking ahead to Thursday, cloudy conditions with additional showers or periods of rain are expected across the country. Activity is forecast to decrease Thursday night, with only isolated showers or light rain mainly over central and northern coastal areas.
Marine operators and small craft users are advised to remain cautious due to moderate sea conditions.
