Cash pan stolen during burglary at Orange Walk gas station

By  Belize Live News Staff: An early morning burglary has been reported at a gas station in Orange Walk Town, prompting a police investigation.

Police report that when staff arrived at the UNO gas station on the Philip Goldson Highway on Monday morning, signs of forced entry and theft were discovered. The building had reportedly been ransacked, and the cashier’s cash pan was missing.

Further inspection showed that the manager’s office door had been damaged, with the door knob broken and parts of the door forced open. Items inside the office were disturbed, though police have not confirmed what else may have been taken.

The matter was reported to police, who responded along with Scenes of Crime personnel. Investigators are currently reviewing security camera footage in an effort to identify suspects.

No one has been detained so far, and investigations into the burglary remain ongoing.
