Santander Sugar Group opens jobs for agriculture mechanics

By Belize Live News Staff: Santander Sugar Limited is inviting qualified Belizeans to apply for open positions as Agriculture Mechanics, as the company continues to strengthen its agro-industrial operations.

The company says it is looking for experienced and motivated individuals who take pride in keeping agricultural machinery operating efficiently. The role involves the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of farm equipment such as tractors, harvesters, and other implements essential to sugar production.

In addition to routine maintenance, successful applicants will be expected to assist with equipment upgrades, read and interpret technical drawings, fabricate parts when necessary, and work closely with operators and supervisors to ensure safe and effective operations.

Applicants should possess a trade certificate or diploma in agricultural mechanics or a related field, along with at least two years of relevant experience. Candidates must also be reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when required.
