By Belize Live News Staff: A cold front crossed the country earlier this morning and is supporting mostly dry, cool, and windy conditions across Belize.
For today and tonight, skies will be variably cloudy with continued cool and windy conditions. A few showers or periods of rain will occur mainly offshore early this morning, decreasing as the day progresses. Elsewhere, little to no rainfall is expected.
Marine conditions will be moderate to rough. Winds will blow from the north to northwest at ten to twenty knots, occasionally gusty. Waves will range between five and seven feet. A small craft caution is in effect, and operators of small vessels are advised to monitor conditions closely and exercise caution.
Temperatures along the coast will reach highs near seventy-eight degrees Fahrenheit with lows around sixty-seven. Inland areas will see similar daytime highs with overnight lows dropping to about sixty-one degrees. In the hills, cooler conditions will prevail, with highs near seventy degrees and lows around fifty-eight.
The outlook for Thursday and Thursday night calls for fair, cool, and dry conditions, with little or no rainfall expected.
