A swift response from the Belize City police led to the immediate detention of a man following a robbery on Christmas morning. At approximately 1:50 AM on Thursday, December 25, officers from the Eagles Motorcycle Patrol team of Precinct 3 were patrolling the Wilson Street area when they encountered a woman crying out for help.
The patrolling officers observed the woman in a physical struggle with a male individual who then attempted to flee the scene. Following a brief pursuit, police successfully apprehended the suspect, who was found in possession of the victim’s purse. The recovered bag contained a small amount of cash along with several other personal belongings.
