By Belize Live News Staff: A relatively moist east-northeasterly airflow will continue to prevail across Belize, bringing cloudy conditions along with showers and thunderstorms today and tonight.
According to the morning forecast issued on Tuesday, 23rd December 2025 at 6:00 a.m., skies will be cloudy at times throughout the day and night. A few showers and periods of rain are expected across most areas, with the greatest activity occurring over the northern and southern districts this morning, inland areas this afternoon, and the south again tonight.
There is also a chance of isolated thunderstorms developing during these periods.
Marine conditions will be choppy to moderate, with east-northeasterly winds blowing at 10 to 20 knots. Wave heights are expected to range between three and six feet.
Daytime temperatures along the coast will reach up to 84 degrees Fahrenheit, falling to around 76 degrees tonight. Inland areas will see highs near 86 degrees Fahrenheit and lows around 72 degrees, while the hills will experience cooler conditions with highs of 76 degrees and lows near 67 degrees.
Forecasters say unsettled weather is expected to continue into Wednesday.
