By Belize Live News Staff: Police are probing an overnight burglary at a warehouse located on Baker Street in Orange Walk Town, which resulted in property damage and stolen items.
Authorities reported that the break-in occurred between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning, when burglars forced their way into the second floor of the building by tampering with the burglar bar and prying open the metal front door.
Stolen items included toilet paper products, while the majority of the loss resulted from damage to the building’s security fixtures. Total losses were estimated at $1,000.
Police processed the scene, documented the point of entry, and obtained surveillance footage that may assist in identifying those responsible. The matter remains under investigation.
