By Belize Live News Staff: Police have reported that a driver has accepted fault following a traffic accident that occurred on Guadalupe Street, Orange Walk late Sunday night.
Authorities said that around 10:30 p.m., a red Mazda pickup lost control while traveling along the street and collided into the rear of a parked pickup truck. The parked vehicle sustained extensive rear-end damage, while the Mazda pickup suffered severe front-end damage.
Despite the force of the collision, police confirmed that no one was injured during the incident. Officers attended the scene, recorded statements from both drivers, and processed the area.
The driver of the Mazda pickup was served with a Notice of Intended Prosecution and later agreed to resolve the matter through insurance. Investigations are ongoing for record purposes.
