By Belize Live News Staff: Police in Orange Walk Town seized a quantity of fireworks during a night operation conducted on Monday, December 15, 2025.
According to police, around 9:45 p.m., officers acting on received information visited an area within the town where checks were carried out. During the operation, a black plastic bag containing an assortment of fireworks was discovered.
The fireworks were seized and later handed over to the Customs and Excise Department, where an official receipt was issued and all items were properly accounted for.
Police said the matter has been documented and turned over to the relevant authorities.
