By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans are being advised to prepare for unsettled weather conditions as cloudy skies, showers, and isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop across the country.
The National Meteorological Service reports that a moist and unstable airflow remains in place, bringing cloudy skies with sunny intervals during the day and overcast conditions tonight. Showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected to form offshore and along the coast before spreading inland.
At sea, conditions will be choppy with north to northeast winds of 5 to 15 knots and wave heights between three and five feet.
Looking ahead to Monday and Monday night, cloudy to overcast skies are expected to persist, with periods of rain and thunderstorms likely over most areas, particularly along coastal and offshore regions.
