Police investigate quick two minute break-in caught on camera

By Belize Live News Staff: A burglary investigation is underway after a business establishment on the Belize Corozal Road was broken into during the early morning hours.

Police reports indicate that the suspect forced entry into Western Feed by breaking a small glass window on the western side of the building. Surveillance footage showed the suspect remained inside the building for only about two minutes before escaping through the same window.

The burglar made off with a company cellphone and a sum of cash. Scenes of Crime personnel were called in to process the scene, and police say the business manager is expected to file a formal report.

Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the burglary to come forward.
