Police: 55-year-old detained after suspected crack cocaine discovered during patrol search

By Belize Live News Staff: Police have arrested a man on Temash Lane, Orange Walk after officers reportedly found suspected crack cocaine concealed between his fingers during a routine patrol.

According to the report, officers observed the man behaving suspiciously and conducted a search. During the process, a white substance believed to be crack cocaine was found between his right-hand fingers.

He was escorted to the Orange Walk Police Station, where he was identified as Alexander Ronald Lemoth. The suspected drug weighed 0.12 grams, and officers sealed it as an exhibit in his presence.

Lemoth was subsequently charged with possession of controlled drugs. Police say he remained silent after being read his rights.
