By Belize Live News Staff: Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Shyne Barrow, has expressed gratitude to U.S. House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries for issuing a Congressional Proclamation recognizing the 25th anniversary of his debut album Shyne and his dual legacy in both music and public service.
Barrow said he was honored by the acknowledgment, noting that his long-standing relationships with political leaders—both Republican and Democrat—have been built in the interest of advancing Belize. He also highlighted the unifying power of Hip Hop, saying music continues to bring people together across the world.
Barrow reaffirmed his commitment to serving humanity through both entertainment and governance, thanking Jeffries once again for the recognition.
