By Belize Live News Staff: Moist and unstable conditions linked to a cold front over the Yucatán Peninsula will continue to influence Belize’s weather today. The National Meteorological Service forecasts cloudy skies with showers or light rain over most areas, especially along the coast this morning and again tonight. There is also a slight chance of an isolated thunderstorm.
Northern winds of 5 to 15 knots will create light chop conditions at sea, with waves between 2 and 4 feet.
Temperatures will be cool, with highs near 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 82 inland, and 72 in the hills. Overnight lows are expected to drop to 74 degrees on the coast, 70 inland, and 64 in elevated areas.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, cloudy periods will continue with morning showers or light rain before becoming isolated later in the day.
