Teaching opportunities open at Alvin L. Young Nazarene High School for 2026 academic year

By Belize Live News Staff: Qualified teachers are encouraged to apply for two open positions at Alvin L. Young Nazarene High School, which has officially issued a call for applications ahead of the upcoming school year.

The institution is hiring a Temporary Spanish Teacher for January–April 2026 and a Permanent Mathematics Teacher on a January–December 2026 probationary contract. The school emphasizes that it is looking for educators who are committed, student-centered, and professionally qualified.

Minimum requirements include:

Associate’s degree in Spanish (Spanish position)

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with Pedagogy (Math position)

Valid teaching license for both roles

Applicants must compile an extensive set of supporting documents, including certified qualifications, transcripts, police record, medical record, and two character references. Salary will be aligned with government pay regulations.
