Cyberbullying charges filed against Deevine Williams after voluntary surrender in Punta Gorda

By Belize Live News Staff: Punta Gorda Police have arrested Deevine Destinee Williams, 25, after she voluntarily surrendered to authorities on December 1, 2025. Her detention follows a report filed on November 10, 2025, alleging the transmission of harmful and indecent digital content.

After her surrender, police secured a warrant based on information and complaint, formally charging Williams for using a computer system to transmit obscene or indecent data with the intent to humiliate, harass, or cause substantial emotional distress.

Williams, who is of a Belize City address, is now in police custody as the case progresses through the judicial system.
