Teacher reports burglary at Lord’s Bank home; over $5,000 in valuables stolen

By Belize Live News Staff: Police are investigating a burglary in Lord’s Bank Village after a teacher reported that her home was broken into sometime between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 27th, 2025.

Ladyville CIB visited the residence at #77 Lord’s Bank, where the homeowner reported that the culprit or culprits gained entry by prying open a door lock on the western side of the house. Once inside, they stole several items including:

A plastic container with assorted jewelry valued at $200

A lavender school bag containing two perfume sets valued at $25 each

A pair of women’s long jeans valued at $65

A watch set valued at $25

US $1,500 in mixed denominations

A silver Lenovo laptop valued at $2,000

A label maker valued at $40

The total estimated value of the stolen items is $5,380 BZD.

Scenes of Crime personnel processed the area, lifted partial fingerprints, and identified several surveillance cameras in the vicinity. Police have not yet identified any suspects, and the investigation continues.
