Public asked to assist in search for missing Belize City teenager

By Belize Live News Staff: A Belize City family is asking for the community’s help after a 13-year-old girl failed to return home Wednesday evening. The child reportedly left at 5:00 p.m., and her family has since been unable to reach her or determine who she may be with.

The missing teen was last seen wearing short black ball pants and a white top, with her hair pulled up in a puff. Concerned relatives say the girl has never stayed out this long before, raising fears for her safety.

The family is asking the public to share any information that could help bring her home. Anyone who may have seen her or who knows of her whereabouts is asked to contact 629-5922.

The mother said she is prepared to make a formal police report but hopes the community can help locate the teen quickly.
