Orange Walk business owner files report after nighttime theft

By Belize Live News Staff: Police in Orange Walk Town are investigating a burglary at an auto shop after surveillance video captured a man removing items from two vehicles inside the compound. The complaint was made by David, owner of Mike’s Auto Diagnostics on the Philip Goldson Highway.

The matter came to light after a mechanic reported being unable to locate a vehicle key on Saturday morning. When staff reviewed the surveillance system, they saw footage from Tuesday, November 18th, showing Adley jumping the front gate at around 11:22 p.m. The video reportedly shows him taking a vehicle key from a Chevrolet Cruze before heading to a Range Rover SUV, where he removed a car battery.

The missing items—valued at $1,300 BZ—were confirmed by the business owner. Scenes of Crime technicians processed the area, and statements were recorded. The investigation is ongoing as efforts continue to locate the suspect.
