Archaeological reserves open for visitation today

By Belize Live News Staff: At 6:00 AM on Thursday, November 20, 2025, the Institute of Archaeology issued an advisory confirming that every Archaeological Reserve is open to the public today. All sites are functioning under their usual schedules, allowing visitors full access.

The Institute also reported that the Xunantunich Ferry remains fully operational, transporting three to four vehicles per crossing. The service is expected to continue smoothly throughout the day.

Tour Operators and Tour Guides are advised to exercise caution due to the possibility of changing weather and fluctuating river conditions. Special care should be taken during water-related excursions to ensure the safety of all participants.

Further announcements will be made only if conditions warrant an update.
