Cayo Police hunt gunmen after Bullet Tree home invasion and vehicle theft

By Belize Live News Staff: A 38-year-old man from Bullet Tree Village was left shaken but alive after being tied up and robbed in a terrifying early morning home invasion on Friday, November 7.

Police say that around 2:00 a.m., the victim arrived home when two masked men — one wielding a handgun — attacked him, forcing him inside his residence. The intruders bound his hands and feet with tape, interrogated him, and took $300 BZD in cash along with other valuables.

The robbers then escaped in his vehicle, a 2013 dark grey Dodge Ram 1500 four-door pickup with license plate C-15217, valued at $45,000 BZD.

Authorities have launched an intensive investigation into what they describe as an aggravated burglary, and are appealing to the public for information about the stolen truck or the suspects’ whereabouts.
