Scattered showers to dampen northern and coastal Belize

Wet weekend ahead as Belize prepares for more showers and thunderstorms

By Belize Live News Staff: A moist and slightly unstable airflow continues to influence weather conditions across Belize today, bringing mostly cloudy skies and occasional light showers, according to the National Meteorological Service.

The 24-hour forecast for Wednesday, November 5, 2025, calls for mostly cloudy skies with some sunny breaks throughout the day and cloudy intervals tonight. Showers or light rain will be isolated, with a medium chance of a few more occurring over northern and central coastal areas during the day. Later tonight, a few showers or periods of rain are likely to develop mainly offshore and along coastal areas.

Winds will blow from the north-northwest at 5–10 knots, producing a light chop at sea, with waves between 2 and 4 feet. Temperatures will remain warm and comfortable, peaking at 85°F (29°C) along the coast, 87°F (31°C) inland, and 77°F (25°C) in the hills.

The tropical weather outlook remains clear, with no cyclone activity expected over the North Atlantic Basin during the next 48 hours.

For Thursday and Thursday night, forecasters expect partly cloudy skies with isolated showers, increasing slightly in coastal and offshore areas by nightfall.
