Belizean ministers visit Taiwan to boost cooperation in clean energy and electric vehicles

By Belize Live News Staff: Belize’s relationship with Taiwan continues to grow stronger as two Belizean ministers embark on an official visit focused on advancing green energy, innovation, and transport development.

Ministers Louis Zabaneh and Michel Chebat will engage with key Taiwanese agencies and industry leaders in electric vehicles, renewable energy, and e-governance, aiming to foster sustainable growth and technology exchange between the two allies.

The visit highlights Belize’s commitment to embracing renewable solutions and leveraging Taiwan’s expertise in climate-smart infrastructure. MOFA reaffirmed the strong diplomatic bond between the nations, calling it “a friendship built on trust, shared values, and sustainable progress.”
