By Belize Live News Staff: The National Meteorological Service reports that fair weather will continue across Belize today, with sunny skies and warm temperatures dominating the weekend forecast.
Expect a few cloudy periods during the day and mostly clear skies tonight, with only isolated showers or thunderstorms possible in some areas.
Light and variable winds will keep the seas calm, with slight wave conditions measuring 1 to 3 feet, ideal for small boats and beachgoers.
Daytime temperatures are forecasted to reach 89°F (32°C) along the coast, 92°F (33°C) inland, and 79°F (26°C) in the hills. Nighttime lows will be 74°F (23°C) on the coast, 70°F (21°C) inland, and 65°F (18°C) in the higher elevations.
No tropical systems are expected to develop over the North Atlantic Basin within the next 48 hours, according to the latest outlook.
The extended forecast for Monday and Monday night calls for continued fair weather with only isolated showers or brief thunderstorms.
