By Belize Live News Staff: The Office of the Prime Minister has confirmed that Prime Minister John Briceño is in New York City to attend the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The Prime Minister will spend the week participating in meetings and delivering Belize’s message on global issues that directly impact the country and the wider Caribbean. He will also highlight the importance of partnerships for development and the fight against climate change.
Prime Minister Briceño is scheduled to return on September 27. Until then, Deputy Prime Minister Cordel Hyde will act as Prime Minister.
