By Belize Live News Staff: On Thursday night, Police responded to reports of shots fired on Tibruce Street under the jurisdiction of Precinct 2.
Upon arrival, officers met foot patrol officers standing near a man lying on the ground, bleeding from the left side of his face. The injured man was quickly placed into a police mobile and transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) for treatment.
At the hospital, the victim was identified as 28-year-old Issa Luima.
Police have since launched an investigation into the shooting.
