By Belize Live News Staff: The Belize weather forecast for Wednesday, September 10, calls for a mix of sunshine and cloudy skies during the day, but conditions are set to deteriorate tonight as showers and thunderstorms spread across the country.
The Belize Met Service says southern and coastal areas should prepare for heavier rainfall later tonight as moist and unstable conditions fuel storm activity.
Temperatures remain hot, with inland highs at 95°F, coastal highs at 90°F, and cooler hilltop areas at 84°F. Lows tonight are forecasted at 75°F inland, 81°F on the coast, and 68°F in the hills.
At sea, light and variable winds will create choppy conditions, producing waves between 3 and 5 feet. Fisherfolk and small craft operators are advised to exercise caution.
For Thursday, forecasters predict cloudy skies with showers, thunderstorms, and periods of rain across the country. Conditions will ease slightly by Thursday night, but wet weather is expected to linger.
Meanwhile, the tropical weather outlook shows no threat of cyclone formation over the North Atlantic Basin within the next 48 hours.
