By Belize Live News Staff: By Aaron Humes: According to police reports, a son and father have lost their lives in an apparent double drowning in the village of San Juan (Cowpen), Stann Creek District.
We understand the father attempted to rescue his son, who was struggling in the river, but unfortunately, both ended up losing their lives.
The police and villagers are currently working together to retrieve the bodies from the river. The Coast Guard has been called in to assist with the rescue efforts.
