BREAKING: PM Briceño Demands Urgent Report on Police Role in Budna Abduction

By Belize Live News Staff: Prime Minister John Briceño has directed Minister of Home Affairs Kareem Musa to provide a full report—no later than Friday—on the investigation into the abduction of Joseph Budna in Orange Walk Town two weeks ago.

The incident, allegedly carried out by police officers, has drawn mounting public scrutiny. Briceño stopped short of offering a detailed comment, stressing only that the Government did not authorize or sanction the operation and “has nothing to hide.”

The Prime Minister added that while he has not ruled out the possibility of an independent probe, any decision will be taken once he reviews the report.

This is a developing story. More details to come.
