By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans can expect a warm and mostly pleasant day today, with sunny skies broken by a few cloudy periods. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms may develop along coastal areas later this morning before shifting inland to the north and center of the country by afternoon. Rainfall will taper off later tonight.
Winds are light at 5 to 10 knots from the east to northeast, and sea conditions remain calm to slight. Temperatures today will peak at 94 degrees inland, 88 along the coast, and 82 in the hills. Conditions overnight will cool to 73 degrees inland, 82 on the coast, and 68 in the higher elevations.
Looking ahead to Saturday, forecasters expect mostly fair weather countrywide, with only a few isolated showers or thunderstorms over southern Belize.
