By Belize Live News Staff: Today’s weather will be a mix of sunshine and clouds, but don’t be surprised by passing showers, especially if you’re in southern Belize.
According to the National Meteorological Service, isolated thunderstorms and a few showers will develop today, particularly in the south, due to lingering moisture and unstable atmospheric conditions.
Tonight, the weather is expected to improve slightly with fewer showers across the country.
Out at sea, conditions are favorable for marine activities with slight seas and wave heights between 1 and 3 feet. Winds are expected to blow from the east at 5 to 10 knots.
Looking ahead to Thursday and Thursday night, the outlook is for isolated showers or isolated thunderstorms countrywide.
No tropical storm development is expected in the region for the next two days, and sunrise and sunset today are at 5:31 AM and 6:26 PM, respectively.
