Police still searching for Pine Ridge home invasion suspects

By Belize Live News Staff: Police are continuing their search for the suspects behind last week’s armed home invasion in the Pine Ridge area of the Cayo District. The robbery, which occurred on Thursday, involved a trio of armed men who stormed a residence and stole electronic devices and a vehicle.

According to ACP Hilberto Romero, Officer Commanding Eastern Division, David Guerra reported that he was attacked at his residence, located at mile 2 on the Pine Ridge Road. He told police that three armed men approached him, held him up, and proceeded to ransack his home, stealing several electronic items along with his Toyota Hilux pickup truck.

Guerra eventually managed to free himself and reported the incident to police. Despite several searches conducted in the area, neither the stolen truck nor the electronic items have been recovered.

No arrests have been made at this time, and police continue their investigation into the crime.
